Man, for some reason I could not get into the right mindset for drawing until I was halfway done with today's comic. Panels one and two were a real struggle to draw. Still, I think it looks okay. I wonder if other cartoonists get as many readers picking apart every nuance of their work as I do? I think of them as hardcore Quality Assurance testers for the comic. They do a good job of keeping me on my toes, so I don't slack off and mess up the little details.

Of course, having said that, there will be one or more glaring errors in tonight's strip that I have completely missed but that several of my readers will quickly point out. Hehe.

Heather and I went to see Hellboy this afternoon. What a great movie. It perfectly captured the overall tone of the comic books, and was one of the best comic-book movies yet. If you haven't seen it, I strongly recommend that you do so. Also check out the graphic novels, they are really fun reads. Baby Hellboy is adorable.

The new Modest Mouse album comes out this week (Tuesday, I believe). This is going to be one of the best (if not the best) albums of the year. You should go out and get your hands on it as soon as possible.

I've made a few additions to the site recently. In the "About" section there is a link to a FAQ for Questionable Content as well as a link to the REAL answers for that interview I did with my friend Luallen. It's pretty long, but people seem to think it's an interesting read. I've also added a nifty animated banner to the Links page that forum-goer Alex made for me. It is super-cool. Thanks Alex!

That's it for now. Enjoy the comic and I will see you Wednesday. Remember to vote for QC on Buzzcomix, we're doing really well so far this month so it would be awesome if we could maintain (or possibly improve!) our position. Thanks to everyone who votes, as always!
